If you found us through a search engine, what search words were you using?: Aquaponic Food Safety

Are you an aquaponic gardener already?: No

Please tell us something else about yourself.: I am a leader in the Agriculture Food Safety Industry. We have been watching aquaponics growing in both numbers and scale. The scale of aquaponics has grown to a level that Retailers and Food Service companies are interested in possibly procuring and selling in large quantities.

The issue:
To reach larger markets (e.g. major chains) food safety expectations need to be met. Current food safety models do not match aquaponic practices.

Solution:
Where is the aquaponic food safety science? I'm interested in reviewing aquaponic science and practices to help come up with an aquaponic industry food safety standard. This standard can then be used by third party auditors and open new markets.
