Beautiful part of the country indeed Peter. The mountains are our favorite part of TN though. Wonderful cool temps here while it swelters on the flats. Great trout country here as well.

Hi Jim. Thanks for the welcome. Coming up that way in August to do some work on the land. I'll give you shout when I know dates.

Hey Peter, welcome to the group. You are about 4 hrs from here (Shady Valley). We may have to put a NETN gathering together this Summer.

StevedNETN, I have no idea. I rarely ever put more than 25 trout in one IBC and we have 5 IBC FTs so there is no reason to crowd and trout don't like crowding. Of course they get thinned as we harvest. We only grow for our table.

Jim, How many #'s of fish are you running per sq Ft of grow bed?

Not sure which Stephen you are addressing?  But I am nearest to Grey TN.  You're right about feeling alone.  I have been looking for anyone who has actually done this for over a year and found no one near me.

I have  greenhouse up and running and growing well I had miss sized my system and didn't have nearly enough fish, so progress has been bad.  I have switched to AP for now, but would love to go back to AP. The fish for me are secondary to the produce, but I love the organic nature of AP.  May redesign the system for a 2017 spring relaunch.  for now I am going to master the gardening part of this for a while.

I would love to see your system one day, but Shady valley is rarely along the way for me anymore.  Used to make it through there regularly a few years back.  Are you in the main valley?  That is a slice of heaven right there.

Hey guys, sorry I got my Stephens mixed up. StevedNETN I checked your pics out and you seem to be up and running. Lots of Dutch buckets. Looks great.
