Hi Matthew,

I like your system, you are unlikely to know about ecological aquaculture but you certainly have some similarities in your flow through system. What are your highest input cost at this stage.

Hello flow thru aquapons, I'm new to AP and really like the idea of using the fish tank effluent to irrigate small scale gardening.  I'm starting my first greenhouse AP this Spring using two 250 gal stock fish tanks raising 60-70 Tilapia. I hope to contact others who are doing this as this is all experimental right now.  Please view my floor plans and check my home page photos.  I'll update here throughout the year.  Thanks for viewing, all comments and questions are welcome.

Hello Matthew,

We are attempting to set up a flow through aquaponics facility from our discharge water.  Because of our fish species, we tend to keep our NO3/NH3 levels very low.  Have you seen a minimum TAN that is required for adequate plant production?
