Nebraska-I have a complete BC tote system for sale.  The system is currently running, it works great. We are moving to a greenhouse with a float system. This system would be around 2500 or so complete plus the work to build it. It consists of three IBC totes, BYO IBC kit from Aquaponics source, all plumbing, 22 bags of hydroton, and is currently stocked with 100 yellow perch.  Fish not included at this point although if we dont have the other system up and running yet the perch can go with it. We choose perch because of our climate.  They can take warm water or live in frozen lakes so our temperature swings dont effect them.  Firm 1700, turnkey. call Tim at 308 five two zero 7852 or email tim at ecovillagemagazine dot com

I have both of Murray Hallam's DVDs -- DIY Aquaponics and Aquaponics Secrets -- and would like to pass them along for a nominal amount of money. The "Secrets" DVD is a PAL version and will only play on an American computer. If you're interested let me know at michael.welber@gmail.com.

Hello,  is there any way we can add a search field.  Or am I missing it?  Thanks

Wil,

If you contact Tilapia Vita Farms, you may be able to go pick up fingerlings from him though it would require driving up to central Florida.  It may be hard to find certified pure blue tilapia fingerlings from some one personally unless they have an aquaculture permit and the state has inspected their fish.

Looking for a good used wire welder. Possibly a plasma cutter as well if in good working order and priced right. I am in Michigan, USA, so S&H must be considered.

LIQUIDATING Grow Rooms

This is an AD for USED Domes Discounted that I think by installing a solar panel and battery backup can be made into an OFF the Grid Grow Room.  I am trying to alert the Aquaponic membership of this opportunity and since they are transportable no building permits required.  Anyways trying to make a difference

The company I use here in Michigan sold me 150, 6" to 7", for the pond but they were not Blues. I order through Howards Feed Store in Jackson, Michigan, and the truck delivers. I found out that the company that sells here is hugh, has many ponds, and may be out of Texas. So I will follow up tomorrow and get you more info,

I am looking to purchase 20 catfish (blue preferred or channel) in Miami, Florida.  Anyone know of a good source???  Also, any thoughts on where to purchase catfish  food?

I am also in the Market for Breeding Pairs of Tilapia, or 100 fingerlings I can get too find a couple Breeding from. No one in Michigan sells them and no one in surrounding States do either as they say it is too cold. The place in Florida wants around $400.00 for Breeding Pairs.  I don't know the rules as to can we sell or trade fish to each other as long as it is not on the States Listing of Species not allowed fish like Grass Carp, which I could use in pond but was told its a Fed Offense to have in Michigan.

  • 12:23 PM  Hi all ... not been around much as I am working at Nursery Greenhouses , and I have laid out 1600 Sq Ft of garden at a local Conservancy. In my travels I have located 3 Ibc containers that the owner will let go for $80.00 & $85.00 s US. They are 275 and 300 Gal. They were used to ship a powered Food product and are cleaned with 1 cup Ammonia and filled with water, Twice. I am sure freight will be about the same. The used ones I found online are $124.00 plus around $79.00 S&H . From there up. Contact me if interested. The owner of all these ICBs is raising fish in the 3 he is keeping and the 2 his friend has also.

Hello, I am looking for anyone who would like to sell a complete system.  I would like for it to be nicely designed for a small balcony.  Please make the price reasonable I would need to buy more as I need them.  I am beginning a small home business with the help of all who would like to include their designs.  Check me out at dcaquaponics.org. I am in the beginning stages.

IBC totes in Wardensville Wv, food grade, and held citric acid. $100.00. Money goes towards the program.

Looking to buy IBC's in Maine or Northern New England. Can't find a source myself. I have looked at the newbie info without any luck finding any. Newspapers/craigslist says closest ones are in NH for food grade used containers. I'd also use fibreglass beds 12"deep obout 585 liter capacity if I can't find IBCs close.

Hi there, I am in Tulsa Oklahoma and getting together a group of those putting their system together and going to pick up a load of expanded shale for my beds to use instead of the Hydroton and so was wondering if anyone wants to go in on some with me as I will have to go up into Kansas to get it. Great price at $48/cubic yard.
