Now for most people doing Aquaponics as a hobby in their backyard, greenhouse or basement will probably not need to worry about this sort of thing.  However, there are some places that will make it hard to buy live edible fish for stocking your system.  This is a good place to post info or links to the appropriate government sites for info about those regulations.

Yes the certification has a yearly fee and requires a site inspection (at least according to the rules, I've not done it myself)
