im using a solid waste filter because 1) i wanted to make one to understand it better, i've never had ro made that kind of filter before 2) i want to try to eliminate/reduce the solid waste that accumulates in my grow bed 3) i want to be able to remove the solid waste and use it as a liquid fertilizer for other plants that i have

Why are you using a solid waste filter on a a media based flood and drain system? Are you using worms in your grow beds?
