Tom, I strongly recommend White Brook Tilapia Farm as a source of tilapia.  You can find the prices on their website and it depends on the type and size of the fish.  Also, you will find that Sarah and Kellen Weissenbach are very knowledgeable and will help you out with questions.  Check them out.

I am interested in your hoop house project.  I have a greenhouse, but am toying with the idea of building a hoop house if I expand.  I am interested in how you plan to build that.  Have you gotten far in your plans?

Good luck with your new fishies.  Where did you get the fish and how much do they cost?  I am still gathering my materials to build an IBC tote aquaponics system.  I am in the process of building a 12x32 foot hoop house and have most of the supplies for a rocket stove thermal mass heater.  I hope to have everything completed by spring.
