Hey Alex, nice little system u have there mate. Best to take the Catnip out as if it's anything like regular mint it will overwhelm (invasive.) your growbed. You wont need the lights on to germinate your seeds just need to keep them warm. The red light spectrum I believe is for fruiting crops and blue spectrum is for leafy vegetative production so I guess u can do both with your light. Good luck mate.
