july 25,2013 update
Update on my system and some of the improvements that I have made, the new tank cover and painting the tank to kill the algae growing in the tank.

I was having trouble with algae in my IBC when I first started so I went to the pet store and bought an algae eating fish. The algae disappeared and the tank is clean and unpainted.
