Joe, the mini quonset keeps warm in the winter... sometimes i run a heater in it... it runs about 20 degrees warmer than outside, and 10 degrees warmer than the large greenhouse.

in the summer we will run a chiller wall and extra shade for lettuce. ...In Austin Texas we need to cool the air more than heat it.

Great setup!! I see hoops inside the greenhouse. Are you getting the second hoops heated or just double glazing that area? Where are you located?

Thanks Wes, after 7 years of development, we've relocated the farm. now i had the chance to start from scratch, but with a solid game plan... gives you the chance to do all the things you've learned along the way...

this is after just 6 mos at the new location.. almost finished with the second greenhouse.. stay tuned, the new setup is an example of just how flexible commercial aquaponics can be...  valves, towers, etc.
