Hi Bart. No, I did not build it. In the copy I wrote on YouTube I mentioned that I did originally intend on building it myself until I ran into one hurdle, the drum part.This is a German engineered but made in Singapore RDF. Mike from Koi Acres supplied us the RDF. It is their second smallest model, the KC15. It is a low cost RDF and does look somewhat "home made"... all CNC plastic and then welded.

The screen material is easy to find, we have a local supplier here in Vancouver, BC. In the US I came across these guys - http://www.accuratescreen.ca/product.php?men=Accurate~Products&... when doing my research.
