I use Sylvia's Maxi-Crop with Iron and my pale trend turned right around.

Jim, thanks for the info, sounds like some good advice...I am new to all of this, first time I have ever tried to grow anything...

Very nice Keith. I too build all my own everything and I know how much effort you have put in there.

One word of caution and I speak from experience: Never ever ever bring plants into your GH from another GH and that includes Lowes. All it takes is just one egg on a leaf or in the soil and buddy it is game on. You won't even know what hit you. I have spent the Winter killing I would guess (haven't actually counted) 10 million white flies and fungus gnats and I only have 5 ibc gbs. The commercial GHs can use poisons that would kill all your fish so your choices of weapons are severely limited. Big system = big mistakes so take precautions up front. Mine came from our favorite GH grower in Bristol TN (as in raceway) and we were totally uninformed as to what was coming our way.

Enjoy. Great job.

Daaaaaaaaamn, mate, thats an incredible starter effort. I plan to start an AP GH soon but no way i could afford that kind  of set up. Was hoping to create something around 3m x 8m and a height of approx 3.5m. Obvious at a glance your system is new as things are a little pale like u mentioned but when that bad boy gets established.. You gonna need a truck for that produce lol. Very nice job mate fingers crossed for ya. Matt.

All the beds, raft or media r built with 2 x 4's on sides and 3/4" plywood on bottom, all PT wood, with Dura Skrim liner....The media is what they call brown egg rock 1/2" in my area...To me it looks like a river rock that u would find in the north..

Great small starter greenhouse.  I am envious.  What did you use to build your grow beds (flood & drain), and what is your media?
