I've used a few of the solar openers in the past (the wax filled kind) and have never been happy with them. Typically they leak after awhile or they don't have enough strength. Also, it's hard to override them if you need to do maintenance or if there is high winds...especially if their up at the peak!

Very cool Rob. I was planning on using the solar actuated units when I built mine; good to know someone has worked out a plan for individually monitored vents. Love to see more of your work; please keep posting. Paul
