Hi John. I'm growing in a 10x20 greenhouse. It's a large hoophouse. I'm using a flood and drain. I have pics of the system being built. It's very basic. We built a "pond" and I have my growboxes just above the level. the pump pulls out and dumps from a long pvc that runs the beds. I tilted the boxes and drilled holes so the water drains in a gutter that runs back to the pond. Like I said, it's a simple design, but it is working great!

John,

how goes the projects man?

I just took my system down, sad to say, but time is getting so tight for me.   I'm putting up a new project in Mexico for an orphange.

Hello John,

Thanks for the invite.

I too, am glad to see others from MS here. I hope to make a garden for ourselves soon. Still trying to see what I like and truly need.

I think I'll find many answers here.

Welcome John,

Thanks for joining the Aquaponic Gardening community!  I hope you find it a fun place to explore aquaponics.  There is a real blend of experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to get in there and start asking questions.  Everyone is quite happy to help out new members – no question is too basic.

A great place to start is to read the “How to Use This Site” link on the upper right corner, “Start Here” section of the Home page.  You might also find the “Aquaponic Gardening Rules of Thumb” guidelines helpful.

Please add a profile image, participate and check in with us every day!  We are constantly posting news about aquaponics and the good food movement.

Thanks again for joining us, and I look forward to getting to know you. (your IBC tote kit order is shipping today, BTW!)

Sylvia
