"@Rattana Phomsouvanh - I'd don't want to hijack your discussion. How about telling us about your system. Have you got any pictures?
@Chris - I'll probably run up against the limits of my system first but I'd like to…"
"@Chris - Thank you for your concerns about ammonia bombs, P and K. But the experiment is designed to see what it takes to kill these plants, so while I acknowledge the added benefits of urine, it's not important any longer.
"Keep in mind that adding straight nitrogen you are lacking many other things that your plants need and humonia has. I believe I saw Vlad mention humonia has an average rating of 7-1-2 although it could vary quite a bit…"

Rattana, welcome to aquaponics and to this forum! I'm in downtown Sac, and there are a number of others here in the Sacramento area, including several in and near Carmichael. Please see (and join) Sacramento Aquaponics under Groups in the green header at the top of the page. There's an announcement thre about a free public aquponics event we're having July 3, and much more. Best wishes. Paul firstname.lastname@example.org
