This group is dedicated to those who are interested and growing in wicking beds. Wicking beds in conjunction with aquaponics can enable us to grow just about every crop that cannot be grown in standard aquaponics. Lets discuss deign, operation and whatever aspect of wicking bed growing you can think of.See More
Had the great pleasure of meeting a fellow CA Aquapon, Andy from Santa Barbara. Got me to thinking we shouldn't be left out. There is a Florida and Colorado group so there has to be one from CA. Besides we can share links, ideas and suppliersSee More

Please tell us something else about yourself.
I live with my husband and mulitple critters in Walnut Creek (the Bay Area), too close to the city for my likeing. Love gardening, love fish (catching, raising, eating, cooking), so put them together-yay!!! I'm into natural foods and self-sufficiency. Since I'm a foodie, I want to grow everything I could want to eat (and that's a lot of variety), so see a greenhouse, multiple types of fish, and solar panels in my future. Just a beginner, though.
