Well, Michael, we'd be pretty close if we were doing our aquaponics down at our place in Oak Hill (Austin area). We have a home and 10 ac. down there; but are spending most of our time up here at Ben Wheeler where we have a home and share 51 ac. with my daughter and her family. Wish we were closer. We too have a small (12 x 20) greenhouse and our home up here is fairly green as well. I located my 275 gal fish tank outside and buried all but the top 6" or so. We too will have issues with freezing temps. and plan to do something like a solar hot water heater to help warm the fish tank in the winter, Good luck on your endeavors.

Welcome aboard Michael. Where is Lake Hills, the only Lake Hills I find with Street Atlas is in the Medina Lake area. I'm up here in Ben Wheeler, close to Canton and Tyler, and am interested in contact with others in Texas doing the Aquaponics thing. I'm a struggling newbie, but might be able to help you avoid some of the problems I've encountered. Drop me an email or call my cell 512.587.0328
