Please tell us something else about yourself.
I live on 5 wooded acres with my DH, 16 laying hens, one turkey hen who lays awesome eggs), 4 wethered Nigerian Dwarf goats, 2 awesome Maremma LGDs (livestock guardian dogs) & 2 sweet 8 year old indoor cats.

We moved to East Texas a year ago last January. We were just too busy last summer, building chicken coops, putting in fencing & learning about raising chickens, goats & LGDs, to get a garden planted. So, this year that is our main focus.

Along those lines, we want to start doing aquaponics, for both the organic vegetables I the fish meat. However, we have been told it is better too start small, to learn the ropes & pitfalls, and then increase the size of our system.

We have a canvas garage, that we plan to use for a greenhouse, after replacing the canvas with Greenhouse mesh.

In the meantime we will be planting a regular garden, so we can have more veggies this year, as we learn how to do aquaponics.
