How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately.I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on this email( firstname.lastname@example.org ) for the full details, Have a nice day
Hi Dr Benny, I would love to be invited to the AquacultureHub, my email is Minerva.rose@Hotmail.com. I've got some plans drawn up, and many questions for you!! :-) My basic design is a pond- 3.7m long, 3m wide, with a slope of .5m-2m deep. Next to the pond (along the 3.7m length) are my 4 grow beds, they are 7m long with a 75cm surface area (made with a rounded bottom...so not regular rectangle). I will start with 1 grow bed of lettuce, then add the remaining 3 beds as I get the funds, and as my fish grow.....I will be keeping koi. Here come the questions!! Could you walk me through an appropriate airlift pump for this set up? What would the flow rate be? how many koi would I need?, how could I include the tea maker, and if I want to grow a variety of vegetables with different nutrient requirements in the same system, can I control the nutrient levels in each separate bed, or would it be best to grow vegetables that have the same requirements? Also, could you walk me through an airlift pump for a little spring we have in the back paddock. It is 1m deep, I would want to pump 9m high and up to 100m distance away ( last 50m down slight slopping hill) Thanks for listening Dr Benny, I will eagerly await your reply, and any questions you may have if I've left something out. Regards Miranda. :-)
Thanks Dr Benny, I really enjoyed both webinars, especially Glenn's tea maker, which I hope to include in my design. I am in the process of drawing up some plans and would love to share them with you and hopefully gain your help and expertise with the more technical side of things, like pump design, flow rates, fish ratios etc. Is there a more direct way of contacting you? via email, perhaps? Thankyou for your time so far, and all the work you have done for the aquaponics community.
Hi Dr Benny Thankyou so much for replying. I can't seem to access the links you sent, when setting up my profile to join, it wont accept any profile photos and wont let me proceed without one. Would love to keep in touch despite my computer illiteracy!!! :-)
Hi there Dr Benny, I'm studying aquaponics in the hopes of starting a small business next year, and am interested in using the air lift pump to transport the water from my pond to the grow bed (1-2m) and was wondering if you could send me the details of how it works. Thanks for listening :-)
Thanks Dr. Benny that is very exciting! Let me know how that turns out. I saw the workshop pdf's about the air pump designs that is defiantly a paradigm shift. Are you guys going to incorporate that into this system? I am pumped about it ( pun intended ). :D
Aw braddah, I was just ovah in Oahu two weeks ago to visit my dad and brother.. I wish I had met you before so we could hook up... ah no biggie, its a good excuse for me to take another vacay! Yes, it does throw quite a wrench in things, doesn't it? I'm waiting to see what their new pricing looks like when they announce it in May. On the Creator site they are claiming to give us freeloaders until October to decide what we want to do. If they pricing isn't too crazy I'll probably try to stay independent, but thank you for your offer. I may still take you up on it at some point. And if not, there may still be some way for us to collaborate.
I'd love to know more about what services you are paying for besides URL and removing advertising. How have you found developing on their platform? Are you making an income from your site?
Great to see you here! A friend noticed your Twitter activity so that is how I started following you yesterday. Looks like you are doing some awesome work getting the good word out, and I like what you have done with your Ning site.
Thanks again for joining us, and I look forward to getting to know you.
