If you cool the water down going to the plants, are you going to heat it back up again for the fish?<br />

I probably wouldn't worry about cooling the water down for the plants unless you are planning a commercial operation. My plants do fine with my 80-90 F water thought the summers (can't grow cool season crops here in summer anyway so I grow what likes the season and warm water and it's fine), my system is outdoors and I have quit bothering to worry about water temperatures since I quit growing…
