Please tell us something else about yourself.
I got interested in soil-less farming one day, started to self study, built a massive system out of recycled materials that has a .5 to 1 ratio. my fish tank is currently anywhere from 1,200-1,500 gallons and am growing my own food out of it as we speak.
I'm not too formally educated on aquaculture as a whole, but seem to have had little problems with the fish's health.
I have little problems with nutrient deficiencies, even in the absence of fish when the winter arises (if I am luck enough to stock my tanks with food fish) and able to maintain a large system with minor testing that still produces vigorous growth and successful healthy food production.
where I am located Food Fish are hard to obtain, and very expensive.
my set-up is outdoors, uncovered, and successful.
Due to limited room, sunlight, budget and resources, I can only get so far.
I am very well versed on motor controls, some advanced electronics, relays, float switches, and other control systems that I would love to apply to design a Problem-less, self maintained system where little to no human involvement is needed. a self automated/fail safe aquaponics system.
I studied Solar PV in college and have endless ideas of how to design systems totally off the grid and fail safe.

I hope one day that someone will be helpful enough to offer me employment opportunities that enable to me learn more and replace my current job as an electrician for organic sustainable food production while advancing my education toward mastering all forms of organic farming, soil and soil-less, and aquaculture. while applying my electrical experience to fuse along with solar/compost/wood hot water/HVAC heaters and heat exchangers.
I one day I hope my dream will come true, where rural and deserted/contaminated land can be a thing of the past and the production of food can occur anywhere in the world to sustain the population in an safe organic manner. while minimizing the oil consumption of transporting produce and hopefully enabling eating organic and healthy more affordable.

Thank you for the friendship request. I appreciate the offer to build me a system. Trying this on my own and learning as I go. I might like to visit you sometime if that works for you. Not looking to copy your system, just see one in real life and learning from my mistakes. Thx again.. M
