How many plants in NFT for 110 gallon tank

Using the 4" net pots and a 1:1 gallon ratio, we are getting 750+ plants needed to balance out. That seems awfully high for about 25 fish. Any guidelines available?Continue
What can be grown in pvc pipes?

Just getting started and I am confused. Some articles say grow beds need to be 12 inches and then I see pictures of plants in 4 inch pvc pipes. What do you recommend?
