I live here in Las Vegas NV and working in a call center for 28yrs. I have been interested in hydroponics/aquaponics for the last couple of years but never had the opportunity to do anything with it. I love to grow things but never liked gardening with dirt and never had great success growing vegetables with this heat. My goal is to obtain enough knowledge to have a small system that will keep me busy after I retire in 2yrs and put a little change in my pocket. I just started a DWC with 4 Lowes buckets outside my patio. I'm having so much fun with them and wondering why I didn't do it before. It will be interesting to see how they handle the heat. Let the fun begin!!!
