How big is your fish tank?: we have one which is 2 by 3 feet indoors and are converting it to aquaponics but we're more interested in outdoor solutions

Please tell us something else about yourself.: I'm part of a gardening group that helps each other and our neighbors learn how to grow our own food and many of us are interested in aquaponic systems. I have a theory that digging down deep enough into the earth one can create a pond which is cool enough year round to raise Tilapia and maybe Trout in Phoenix, AZ

There is a real blend of experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to get in there and start asking questions.
