Totes

Posted on August 16, 2011 at 10:13am 2 Comments

Purchased 275 gal totes yesterday. Hope to have the green house completed today or tomorrow and will start on tote aquaponics system.

Getting Started

Posted on August 3, 2011 at 5:39pm 0 Comments

I took my first step today in starting an aquaponics garden - bought a green house kit from Harbor Freight. It will take me a week or so to do prep for green house installation but I'm excited.

Look forward to lots of questions.

Yo Russ:

Well we had a good time at the first tour but only saw 3 systems. 7 people were in attendance and it went well. The next tour is slated for early to mid October. Contact me or Lonnie for more details but best to do it late in September. cheers!

Hello Russ and welcome! There is a meet being planned for Aug. 27th for all of us north county san diego and south county riverside aquapons, (kind of an odd term, don't ya think?). Look up Lonnie Harper (O-side) and get your info to him if interested. I am just getting going on this venture myself so don't have any wonderful insights to reveal EXCEPT to follow Sylvia's advice and read the postings. Much good info there, can save you some grief...BTW, cute kid. Cheers, Paul
