- Lets see ....I am married and have two sons. I am currently serving in US Navy and have been for the past 15 years. I grew on a small ranch out in West Texas, and have always wanted to get back to a simpler way of life. Plus I wanted to be more self sufficient. Being in the Navy and living in the city kinda makes that a challenge. So, I started looking for ways to do it in my backyard and save space. Plus I hope to some day be retired from the Navy and own a nice plot of land some place where I can have a big greenhouse with a large aquaponic garden!
