I recently purchased a small countryside property in Central Florida with the desire to do something of an agriculture nature on the property. After looking at all the options I could chose, I decided it was best to go with setting up an aquaponics operation--a small one at first. I found a farm that has been doing it near for seven years now and they offer classes for both the home hobbyist and commercial growers. I just took their one day home hobbyist program and will soon start up my first of two home scale systems. In the fall I will take the commercial program as I move to go larger.
