Have 150 gal tank from tractor supply that floods (ebb and flow) my 8x4 grow trough. Trying to figure out if I need media beds, swirls filter, etc, etc, etc. Nitrates are about 25ppm at 4 mo old. No Nitrites. Ammonia .25ppm. pH a constant problem at 8-8.4. Lost lots of fish. Husband draws the line at having fish funerals. Trying to learn as quick as I can but so much conflicting info out there.
