- I want to build a system here in Northern Maine to raise trout. Due to the cold winters, I plan to house the fish, tanks, filters, etc. inside an insulated building attached to the backwall of my greenhouse. To help maintain trout climate, I plan to sink the fish tanks into the ground inside the insulated house. The greenhouse is double poly air insulated.
