Profile Information

How did you find us?
by typing into google "aquaponics chat"
Are you an aquaponic gardener already?
I'm getting there.
If so, what type of system? (pick all that apply)
Still in the beginning stages. Just 10 goldfish in a 10 gal tank. I'm collecting rain water to replace the water in my tank right now. Rain water seems more PH stable than from the tap and pond water.
How old is your system?
Just started
What type of fish do you grow with? (select all that apply)
Goldfish
How big is your fish tank?
20 gal or 75.7 liters
Please tell us something else about yourself.
My other pet project is, whatever I'm building with wood. I just finished an arched lid toy box for my nephew. I also used to be in a band called Harris. We rocked the city of Boston for 6 years. I'm psyched to have learned about AP because I always get really excited to plant my spring soil garden. Now I don't have to wait through a long winter to do so.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for joining the Aquaponic Gardening community! I hope you find it a fun place to explore aquaponics. There is a real blend of experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to get in there and start asking questions. A great place to start is by checking out the forums and groups. Everyone is quite happy to help out new members – no question is too basic.

We have just one rule: keep it cordial (no flaming!).

Thanks again for joining us, and I look forward to getting to know you.

Sylvia
