If you found us through a search engine, what search words were you using?: aquaponics

If so, what type of system? (pick all that apply): I built a barrel system about a year ago. It was simple, I cut the top of a plastic barrel and set a half barrel on top of it. It worked quite well. I used hydroton in it along with 6 goldfish. I just built a 1-1/2 gallon desktop system with my kids of the plans from friendly aquaponics. It's cycling now. fish are in but not plants yet. It's been up for bout a week.

Please tell us something else about yourself.: We are also building the family size system. I'm really anxious to get started. We have most of the supplies and are just now starting to level a foundation. We live in Hot/Humid/Bug ridden east texas so we plan on putting it in a greenhouse structure. I'm building this system exastly from FA's blueprints using 2 16ft trays and 2 200gal fish tanks.
