gathering the components of a barrelponics system just to get familiar with ap. makes so much sense in our part of hawaii -- soil quality is not good and water conservation is essential.

we have a small boat that allows us to go out on the water and watch humpbacks. we are very careful about keeping the legal distance away from them, but once we turn off the motors it is common for them to come close to us. thrilling, and at times scary!

It's great to find another Aquapon on Maui! We're all in the learning stage, and have found that more heads are better than one, so we're really happy that you joined our fledgling group. Please feel free to share any thoughts, comments, or experiences so that we can all learn together.
