Francis Bosah was a poor, hungry urban dweller and as a participant observer, has sociologically investigated the Nigerian urban hunger situation and issues and is now leveraging and promoting Urban Agriculture (UA) as a social re-engineering and economic development tool to bring about a whole new level of rethinking, culture, opportunities and realities that make for food and nutrition security, social cohesion and sustainability.
Today, Francis is enthusiastically using the platform of his organisation to essentially demonstrate the possibility, viability and sustainability of urban farming paradigm and at the same time helps to combat hunger and hunger issues (such as malnutrition, unemployment, crime, prostitution etc) in the urban populations through direct entrepreneurial investment (Urban Aquaculture & Vegetable Farming, Sales, Demonstration, Training and Consultancy).
Francis believes that every small urban backyard space, patio, rooftop, fence wall and the likes should be set up as an agricultural field and sustainably farmed for the feeding and liveability of urban dwellers.
