I started out building an above-ground lotus pond for my Vietnamese wife and added gold fish and Japanese Trapdoor snails to help control algae, then added a small raft for strawberries and lettuces. Now I'm hooked on aquaponics and want to set up a small aquaponic garden at the high school where I work.
