Please tell us something else about yourself.: It's actually my 84-year old father who is the fish farmer, and who is just starting to get into aquaponics (although he's raised fish since he retired in his early 70s, mostly striped bass but now tilapia). He set up his first (test) grow bed in July 2012 off of a 50-gallon tank, and he'll help me set mine (also 50-gallons) up on my back porch very soon. Once we get the hang of the gardening aspect, he wants to put in grow beds to help filter the water for his 4000 or so fish.
