Want to talk with you about setting up that possible report-back evening in Sac with you and a few others who have gone to different aquaponics trainings recently. Could you please send me an email or forum Message (as opposed to Comment) so we can discuss further? Thanks. Hope you can make the tour too...let me know.
Hi again Bridget, hope you can make the tour. Thinking ahead to a possible next event: local report-back from folks who will have gone to trainings by Max Myers and Growing Power and Nelson & Pade and Sweet Water; would you want to participate in something like that and talk about Green Acres? Paul joezbro@gmail.com (email's a bit easier; or Message, but Comment can work...)
There will be a free tour of Sacramento-area aquaponics set-ups for local aquaponics enthusiasts on Sunday, June 10. Pre-registration required. Click here for more info.
I’m organizing a tour of aquaponics systems in the Sacramento area. To keep it simple, it wouldn’t be for the general public, but mainly just for those of us with aquaponics set-ups (of any kind/size/stage of development). It’d give us all a chance to see if we can learn from each other and help each other out. Step one: find out who’s interested in participating in the tour. Are you? Please let me know. And let me also encourage you to join the Sacramento Aquaponics group on this forum--Grass Valley & Sac aren't too far apart...
Thanks for joining the Aquaponic Gardening community! I hope you find it a fun place to explore aquaponics. There is a real blend of experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to get in there and start asking questions. Everyone is quite happy to help out new members – no question is too basic.
A great place to start is to read the “How to Use This Site” link on the upper right corner, “Start Here” section of the Home page. You might also find the “Aquaponic Gardening Rules of Thumb” guidelines helpful.
Please add a profile image, participate and check in with us every day! We are constantly posting news about aquaponics and the good food movement.
Thanks again for joining us, and I look forward to getting to know you.
