If you found us through a search engine, what search words were you using?: Louisiana aquaponics

Please tell us something else about yourself.: My partner and I took the plunge in April of 2012. We dug a 1200 gallon hole in our New Orleans backyard, lined it with pond liner and built a 300sqft greenhouse around it. We have four grow beds that are 5x6 filled with GrowStone. We hope to grow food for our family, keep our friends in supply, and maybe sell a bit of the surplus. We are currently raising goldfish and a few koi, but will explore other species over time. We would be happy to show our system to anyone in the area or anyone passing through!

Thanks for joining the Aquaponic Gardening community! I hope you find it a fun place to explore aquaponics. There is a real blend of experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to get in there and start asking questions. Everyone is quite happy to help out new members--no question is too basic.
