We have a solar home in Boulder that I built in 2000. I'm a Macintosh computer consultant and a consultant in Spiral Dynamics Integral. My partner Aria is a gardener and personal cook. We have a small certified organic herb farm called Wildcat Gardens, and are looking forward to adding a greenhouse and/or aquaponic system to become more sustainable. HI Ben! Great to see you might join us Saturday. I just need to know if you will be with us for dinner by Saturday morning. If you can just make happy hour at our place that is all good too.
Hi Ben...welcome to the forum !
I was checking out your pictures, at your site....very nice. I found the one of the 'blizzard' interesting.....I kept looking, But I didn't see the "DQ" anywhere....lol...said the guy from sunny central FL.
Thrilled to have a fellow Boulderite in our community! ! I hope you find it a fun place to explore aquaponics. There is a real blend of experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to get in there and start asking questions. Everyone is quite happy to help out new members – no question is too basic.
A great place to start is by checking out the forums, blogs and groups. If you are interested in a forum or blog topic, but don’t want to join in right away, just check the “follow” box to be notified whenever there is activity on that subject.
If you ever want to see aquaponics in action just let me know and we can arrange a time for you to see my backyard and greenhouse systems. Also, you should consider attending the Murray Hallam workshop at the Denver Botanic Gardens on September 19th. I'm also teaching a 2 night class through LifeLong Learning Oct 6 and 13.
