I employ a modified version of the square foot gardening method... Make my own compost, etc. But am interested in all closed/balanced system methods. Especially aquaponics.
Please tell us something else about yourself.
I am in the process of planning and developing a family owned and operated, garden centered, eco-village resort. The facility will include an organic restaurant (with open kitchen overlooking those gardens) which will serve a menu composed almost entirely of "locally grown" organic foods (most of which will be supplied by our own gardens.)
The resort will also contain a number of separate "green built" cabana-type guest quarters, and a central gathering area. A healthy and fit lifestyle which is in harmony with the global ecology will be our focus. Our goal/desire is to be a model of excellence for those interested in pursuing self-contained, sustainable, agribusiness and life, as well as a haven for those who simply want to enjoy it.
How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately.I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on this email( email@example.com ) for the full details,
I agree with your philisophical outlook - if you truly want it badly enough, the universe will find a way to help you make it happen. It is a great idea at the perfect time.
The day I emotionally left AeroGrow (the last senior team offsite meeting I would participate in) I went for a walk on Pearl street after the meeting in kind of a sad funk. I went into a gift shop and saw a coffee mug that said "what would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?" Sounds hokey, but it really spoke to me. It's about not letting fear get in the way of your dreams. I bought the mug and use it every day.
How cool is that?!?! I love your idea for a resort - who knows, maybe I'll show up there some day.
Thanks for joining the Aquaponic Gardening community! I hope you find it a fun place to explore aquaponics. There is a real blend of experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to get in there and start asking questions. A great place to start is by checking out the forums and groups. Everyone is quite happy to help out new members – no question is too basic.
We have just one rule: keep it cordial (no flaming!).
Thanks again for joining us, and I look forward to getting to know you.
