My squash has been blooming like crazy but nothing seems to come of it. It blooms, the flowers die, then fall off. I've had butterflies and even the occasional bee come in through the open windows so I hope they are being pollinated. I'm clueless for now.

Thanks! Hard to believe I actually got a B in Horticulture back in college. I swear I've forgotten everything. I'd completely forgotten about male and female flowers.

Probably the flowers you see dying are the males. If you see a flower that is coming out of a little squash that is the female. Likely they will come from the budding top you have there in your picture. Watch for her to open, and in the morning before she closes cut one of the males off, pull the petals off his flower and swab his pollen inside the female flower on the stigma. Be patient the females should grow soon. I think I can see one in your photo. Hope that helps you!
