Rob, you might want to purge them in clean water before adding them to your system.  Adding wild life to your system can be a hazard if your not careful.

I was thinking about throwing a couple of crayfish in my system.  There are a bunch of small ones in our river, but once they get over a couple of inches, the racoons find them.

Chi Ma mentioned that they like water temps to be around 80 or more. I am going to try that.

Can you "stress" (works with worms) change water temp, move them around in tank, with hold food etc?
