@ Chris: I used the Friendly's as a reference, but put many of my own touches on it.  The solids filter allows more fish to be stocked and the media bed adds aeration and a place to grow small kine stuff like herbs.  I also add some extras on the plumbing system to increase the aeration for the fish tank.  I can send you a parts (including all costs) that's in excel format if you like.  I have it broken down into various system, so you start with the very basics and then expand.  Let me know if you

@RW: I had some left over plywood from previous projects that I cut to shape and painted with outdoor latex paint.  It has a hinged lid and the entire cover is bolted to the stock tank but can be removed in 5 minutes.
