water snails??? are these a good thing or a disaster?? I have quite a few ... just noticed them recently - they seem to be right around the place where the water enters the growbed, have a small cup catching the water as it comes in and there is some algae on this cup - no algae in rest of the beds. Do these snails eat algae? are they beneficial? or a pest??
