Thanks for responding. I saw a lot of similar looking bins in local stores but none of them were marked with a number. I am still trying to figure out what they are and if they are safe.

I checked that when I bought them and they were, it's been about 3 months but I think they were marked #5 plastic which the "Google machine" said is safe.

What type of plastic are those bins? Are they food safe?
