Also as awesome as using the epoxy is which allows you to have the window, it might be a little harder to maintain than using a liner. Not sure on the cost either but looks like you might not save that much using epoxy.

Sounds like you are having similar issues as Wayne with the design, from a support aspect anyway.

If you review the video in the comments you might get some ideas. I think their design provides well more than enough support in some aspects but still i think the forces on the corner joints may be where there could be a possible failure. Water is really heavy and it is difficult to distribute the load on a square box so all the weight of the tank ends up pulling on the 4 corners.

This is the first tank I ever built. It took 2.25 gallons of resin plus hardener. I will post more on how to build as I am going to start building a second tank. I meesed up on the first tank. Its bowing in the middle due to lack of support. I added some after the fact but its not holding.

OOPS! I did not get far enough in the pictures to see that you did make your tanks.

Thanks for sharing the pics. This tank looks really cool. Do you mind sharing some more about how you built it? Is that plywood on both sides of a frame? I noticed in the other pic you can see the plywood on the inside. did you just epoxy the insides directly on it? How much epoxy did it take?
