At what age can you determine this?
While at WWH2H orphanage in Honduras earlier this April, we used these photos to teach the older teens how to determine the sex of the tilapia in the raceway. We were able to establish a breeding colony of Tilapia so there is now a way to sustain the fish population there. This is thanks to this photo being available online. It worked for us...But for the record we were looking at older fish, not fingerlings.
I've given up on sexing. I have 800 fingerlings. Have quit trying to save more. Have no where for them to grow.
I am still finding it difficult to determine who is who! LOL
