The "Tidy Cats" bucket should make for a good solids filter, and will be easy to clean. I drilled holes in the side with hole saws, and lined the inside with filters, so the water from the bottom of the fish tank can make it through and hopefully many of the solids will stay inside and need cleaning every few weeks. I also added another bucket in the sump that is acting as another bio-filter, it is drilled with large holes, then filled with screen door material and left in the sump tank. We'll see!
