My pond was 90 gallons and I only one 10" shubunkin, and two medium sized common gold fish. But to increase bioload I added about 15 one inch feed gold fish. I use the feeder gold fish becasue they are cheap at around 20 cents each. The pond itself was running for a solid two years through winter fish inside iced over. I kept the pump going to keep a hole thawed but would have to add warm water sometimes.

how big is the fish tank and how many lbs. of fish to get this to this point
