now i'm all for trying that out, Rob, but i'd like some more information on why i would add mag and how that would affect my fish. If there's an article i can read, i'll gladly look it up, thanks

looks like its time to add some Mag... a liitle epsom salt should do it. ...start with about 1/2cup per 100 gallons.
