Cool I will keep an eye out for that, I just have alot of dirt in my system because of the transportation to and from different house.

Bryan, one thing I have noticed over the past few days is that the spray head seems to be filling with small amounts of solids from the tank. This is most likely from waste out of the tank and/or any debris from the grow beds that has filtered down and is being recirculated. I plan on cutting the pipe that runs down to the spray head and installing an union so that I can remove it for cleaning.

thanks for that info I mimic the same setup in my system yesterday after seeing yours :) My pump was sending way to much water to the fish tank and it was over flowing. Now it holds a constant level in the tank and the sump is more aerated and has more water,

Bryan, the T serves a dual purpose. It is to help regulate the pump flow and to aid in oxygenating the tank. I did not want to run more that one electrical device at a time.

you added a T fitting on the outlet side of the pump to help regulate the flow?
